Anna Lacy
She/Her
Associate Psychotherapist
Therapy is so personal and requires trusting a process that you may not fully understand. Anna realizes how vulnerable you may feel trying to find a therapist, and hopes to provide a warm, non-judgemental place as you work towards better mental health. Anna practices humanistic therapy, which means she believes you’re the expert in your life and have the intrinsic ability to make meaningful changes. Anna will support you as you explore your emotions, thoughts, and circumstances of your life.
Anna works with clients navigating depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, OCD, parenting, and/or perinatal and fertility struggles.
In addition to her person-centered approach, Anna personalizes her work with each client using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based interventions, and the Gottman Couples Therapy Approach.
Anna welcomes you to reach out for a free consultation, so she can learn more about you, and explore how you might work together.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SELF-CARE TIP/WAY TO WRAP UP THE END OF A LONG DAY?
As a life-long New Yorker, Anna regularly takes long park walks as an antidote to the stressors of a busy day and urban life in general.
WHAT SONG ALWAYS LIFTS YOUR MOOD?
A sports psychologist once told Anna he only surrounds himself with media that makes him feel the emotions he wants.
While he likes sad music, he never listens to it unless he is trying to evoke that feeling.
In line with this philosophy, Anna tries to be very conscious about what music, television and social media she consumes in an effort to support feelings of well being.
With that said, any Beyonce song is always a safe bet to get energized and think with a positive mindset.
